While most were out celebrating the Labor Day Weekend, the crews at San Bernardino County Fire spent the weekend responding to multiple hoist rescues in the Deep Creek and Forest Falls areas.
Our staff videographer Bryan Keenan was at the scene of a hoist rescue at Aztec Falls. (Video Below) Additional Hoist rescues were performed at the Big Falls Recreational Area near the Highway 38 community of Forest Falls. Visitors are reminded that these areas are steep and rocky. All visitors should use caution when hiking these areas or jumping off the cliffs.
