SAN BERNARDINO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is continuing a project to mill and overlay current pavement and improve ramps per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on State Route 38 (SR-38) between Agate Street in Mentone to Valley of the Falls Drive, Forest Falls (post mile 15). The project is expected to be completed in late 2018.
Lane reductions will start after September 24, 2018. During the project there will be lane closures with flagging operations, as needed. One lane will remain open in each direction during work hours. Motorists may expect delays due to one-way traffic control and occasional, short-term, moving lane closures between the hours of 5:00 a.m.and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
