Weather Report – 3/31/19

Good Morning.
Ahh, what a beautiful morning! Spring has sprung. Today we will continue to have sunny skies and light gusty winds. Temperatures will be warming right up with highs today in the 60s for most all of the mountain communities. The Valley will warm to the low to mid 80s! Offshore flow will continue today but will end early tomorrow morning.

An area of Low pressure will arrive to our North bringing more rain the the Pac-NW late Monday and Tuesday there. Here we will see increasing clouds Tuesday afternoon with a chance for light sprinkles Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. We will be on the lower end of the Trough of Low pressure at that time.

Wednesday and Thursday, a Transitory Ridge of High pressure will move over the West bringing sun and clearing skies to SoCal. However, temperatures will be slow to rebound.

Friday and Saturday we will have another chance for a shower as another system works its way through the Pac-NW.

As it looks this morning, these storms will likely peter out around Santa Barbara or Ventura. There is a chance that a couple of Troughs could make it this far South, but that’s just too far out in crystal ball land to be sure of anything at this time. We’ll see. *RC
