On Saturday evening many motorists on Lake Drive saw large amounts of water running through the street amidst a fleet of Edison trucks and crews working.
The water was being pumped from the underground vault housing the underground electrical for the business district on Lake Drive. Repairs continue resulting from outages that plagued the Crestline area within the last few weeks.
A 3:00 am planned outage will take place as crews continue working. It is slated to affect the Post Office, Crestline Cafe and localized sections in that vicinity. The length of the outage is unknown at this time but Edison is working at an hour that will affect customers with as little impact as possible.
Traffic is not affected at this time as lanes on Lake Drive remain open. Please use caution driving in the area as crews are working on the road shoulders.
