At 5:21 p.m. the California Highway Patrol received a 911 call indicating that there had been an accident on Highway 18 near Arrowhead Villas Road.
The involved Vehicles were one motorcycle and one passenger car, a black Infiniti. For reasons unknown, the Infiniti driver apparently ended up sideways in the road at which point the motorcycle collided with the driver’s door.
The rider was taken to Saint Bernardine’s Medical Center in San Bernardino with minor injuries, and is expected to recover quickly.
The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by the CHP.
