At 1:16 pm on Saturday, multiple calls went into emergency dispatchers reporting a three vehicle traffic collision on Big Bear Blvd just west of Division, in Big Bear City.
San Bernardino County Sheriff Deputies from the Big Bear station were on scene handling the investigation. Medics from Fire Station 282 in Big Bear City, along with units from Station 281 in Big Bear Lake and the Battalion Chief, were on scene treating three injured patients.
The involved vehicles sustained moderate damage and while traffic was slowed in the area due to the multi vehicle accident, the road remained open. A Performance Tow was on scene to recover the vehicles.
The extent of the injuries sustained by the victims has not been released and the cause of the crash is currently under investigation at this time.
