Weather Report – 4/23/19

Good Morning. It’s time for coffee and the morning weather.

This morning we have clear skies across the area. Yesterday’s system that came through on time around 4pm, brought light rain and even a report of Hail in the Big Bear area, along with a few claps of Thunder has all moves East. Today and for the rest of the work week, clear skies and warmer temperatures will be the forecast. Gusty NE winds will be in the forecast through tomorrow morning as the Low moves East, and High pressure moves in. Temperatures will reach into the low to mid 70s across the area through Friday.

Then another change is expected. A cut off Low will move into Southern California from the South. This will begin to affect SoCal, late Friday bringing cooler temperatures and a deeper marine layer that may push all the way to the local coastal slopes by Saturday morning. The Cut Off Low is expected to take a path right over SoCal late in the weekend. Sunday and Monday there will be a chance for light precipitation or drizzle along the Rim and front country.

So there you go! just enough to finish a cup of Java! Have a great day and week ahead. That’s it for today. Thank you for joining me @ lakegregoryweather.com
