TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:

Good Morning.
The onshore flow is picking up across the region as the pressure gradient lowers in the Great Basin and rises along the coast. The Marine layer has pushed all the way to the bottom of the hill this morning and to ~1200’AGL.
.A weak Trough of Low pressure will move through the West today and Friday bringing in much cooler temperatures with it. Today’s high temperatures will run from 7-14* cooler than yesterday. Friday will be about the same with gusty SW winds at times. The Marine layer will likely deepen for tomorrow morning and remain with us through early next week.
..Saturday temperatures will warm slightly as a transitory Ridge moves through the area. This will be again followed by another weak wave of lower pressure on Sunday and Monday that will continue the general cool trend with night and morning fog and low clouds through mid week next week.
..Wednesday of next week, a Pacific High pressure air mass will move over the West bringing with it a warming trend that will last for several days.
..That’s about it for today. A nice break from the heat for a few days before it returns mid week next week.
..Have a good day and enjoy the great Mountain weather.*RC

Yesterday’s High and Low temperatures were:
Crestline-87/62*, Twin Peaks-80/57*, Lk Arrowhead-84/60*, Running Springs-82/54*, Big Bear-85/38*, GVL-81/50*, San Berdo-102/60*, Wtrmn Cyn-93/56*.

..On the main page of the website, www.lakegregoryweather.com I have added two live webcam views, one of Lake Gregory pointing North, and the other facing Southeast toward Waterman canyon. These are very helpful for the drive up and down the hill. If the camera view is gray, that means it’s foggy.

..Be sure to check out the other pages on the website for the Latest on El Nino, live webcams from around the area, live Radar, Satellite loops, Traffic conditions, along with live Weather conditions, and a live view of Lake Gregory from my weather station at the South side of the lake. Have a good Day! *RC
