Weather Report – 4/7/19

Good Morning.
Yesterday was a beautiful day of Mountain weather! Took the family to the Bear House for a great dinner, then took in a little Karaoke to round out the night. Met some new people and a good time was had by all!

Today will be another very nice day across the mountain with mostly clear skies with much warmer temperatures. A few locations have gusty NE winds this morning mostly along the Ridges and in the local Canyons. This weather pattern will last through Tomorrow, with Monday having the warmest temperatures for all of SoCal.

Tuesday a Trough of Low pressure will slide South toward SoCal. This will bring in gusty winds and much cooler temperatures locally with more rain and snow for the Central and NorCal Region. No rain is expected here from this system but you will notice the change in weather as temperatures will cool by 10-15*. As this Trough passes, we will have gusty winds for Tuesday and Wednesday. Skies should remain mostly clear with only high clouds through Thursday when the next system will approach the area.

Friday there is some model differences for the Forecast, temperatures will be much cooler as a cold Low moves through the area. The big question at this time is, will there be enough moisture to bring rain and snow with it for Friday into Saturday morning. We’ll just have to wait on the details for this one.

That’s it for today. Thank you for joining me @ lakegregoryweather.com and a BIG thank you to all who have donated to this website.
Be sure to check out the website for live webcams from around the area along with live weather conditions and a view of Lake Gregory from my weather station at the South side of the lake.
Have a good Day! RC
