Vehicle Strikes Tree Outside of Walgreens in Big Bear Lake on Saturday

At 4:10 p.m. on September 28th, a solo-vehicle accident occurred on Big Bear Boulevard and Moonridge Road in Big Bear Lake. A Subaru traveling eastbound on Big Bear Boulevard attempted to turn into Walgreens, but he was going a little too fast to make the turn. The driver over-shot the entrance and collided with a tree.

The 83-year-old male driver of the Subaru was transported to the hospital in unknown condition by Medic Ambulance 282 – Big Bear City. No other occupants were inside the vehicle. San Bernardino County Sheriff – Big Bear Station is conducting the investigation. AND Towing arrived on scene and recovered the vehicle.
