On Wednesday July 31, 2019 at 11:02 a.m., calls were received by 911 stating there was a traffic collision at Lake Drive and Fern Drive in Crestline, near Top Town.
An employee of Danella, a contractor for Edison, was hit. He stated that he was at the stop sign on Lake Drive, waiting to make his turn to continue onto Lake Drive, when he looked in his rear view mirror to see a large SUV on the embankment headed straight for him. The contractors’ truck was hit before he could react. He was able to drive his truck to a nearby parking lot and stated he was feeling sore.
The SUV ended up on its side at the stop sign on Lake Drive. The driver of the SUV was transported to a hospital to get checked out.
The accident is under investigation at this time.
