On July 19th at 9:36 am a call went into highway patrol reporting a solo motorcycle accident on highway 38 just below South Fork Campground. Medics from station 283 Sugarloaf and 282 Big Bear city arrived on scene to find a male victim suffering from minor injuries. The patient was transported to a local hospital. The rider was traveling upbound 38 when he lost control and collided with the hillside. California highway Patrol is handling the investigation. San Bernardino County Sheriff along with California Fish and Game were also on scene assisting with traffic control.
