Rim O’ the World Association of Realtors gathered at The Club San Moritz in Lake Gregory on Friday, November 9th. The affair was a luncheon recognizing current officers and board members. Food was presented in a buffet style and was appetizingly enticing, as evidenced by the many attendees who found themselves making several trips. The club offered a relaxed and natural setting, boasting mountain views and lake charm.
The highlight of the event was the ceremony installing the 2019 Officers and Board. Outgoing president, Tonja Graff, who has been the President for the past three years, welcomed the incoming 2019 President, Vicky Center. Vicky played off of recent political campaigns by surprising the guests with a red “Make RIMAOR Great Again” cap, similar to the one our sitting U.S. President used in his campaign. Her message was a positive one, and a commitment to do her best to make things better for the realtor and mountain communities.
What kind of racist nonsense is THIS? ugh. DISGUSTING. The community that lives on this mountain is diverse, and this such despicable display of racism by mimicking the racism that the MAGA hat stands for. So disappointed by this. I will be letting ALL my friends who are in the market for real estate in the area about this.
