On Thursday April 11th at 3:58 pm. California Highway Patrol and Fire Agencies were dispatched to the scene of a head on vehicle traffic accident that involved a large white truck and a blue mini van on it’s roof.

The accident took place on a blind curve of Hwy 138, mile marker 33, near Silverwood, causing a full road closure in both directions. An off duty fireman was assisting with the accident, as well as others who approached the scene, until rescue units arrived.

Due to the blind curve, the California Highway Patrol remained on scene until Mountain Auto Towing removed the damaged vehicles. Occupants and injuries are unknown at this time.
