Weather Report – 4/12/19

Courtesy of LakeGregoryWeather.com

Good Morning.
Early this morning a few light snow showers were reported over the Big Bear, Running Springs and Arrowbear areas. Other than that, no measurable rain or snow has been reported locally. This is from a passing Trough that has moved through as an inside slider and will be out of here by later this morning. There will be a slight chance for an additional shower locally but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Gusty winds will be with us again through the morning and should taper off by this afternoon. A few clouds will hang around today as the Trough moves East along with generally cool temperatures.

Saturday and Sunday will bring nice Spring like weather to the area as a Ridge of High pressure builds across the area. Warmer temperatures with light winds and clear skies will be the forecast through the weekend.

Then for Monday and Tuesday, another Inside Slider will pass through bringing more gusty winds and cooler temperatures to the area. This will again be followed by another ridge of High pressure for the rest of the work week.

So as we work our way through Spring, Winters grip will just not let go! This pattern of Ridging and Troughing appears to be what we can expect for the next five to ten days. So expect warmer days followed by cooler days on about a 48hour regime.

That’s it for today. Thank you for joining me @ lakegregoryweather.com.
