On March 24th at 6:05 PM a white pick up truck was traveling on Shay Rd in Big Bear City. The driver lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a telephone pole. BIG Bear Fire Department arrived on scene and treated one patient. The patient was airlifted to Loma Linda with major Injuries. His condition is unknown at this time. It is unknown what caused the vehicle to leave the Roadway. California Highway Patrol will be handling the investigation.
