At 3:31 PM on Saturday, September 8, the CHP received a call regarding a rollover accident involving a gray GMC Yukon, on Highway 18 at Holcomb Valley Road. The vehicle was reported to be off of the roadway and into the trees.
It was originally reported that three parties were outside the vehicle with another party was possibly trapped inside. At 3:48 PM, fire personnel arrived on scene and confirmed that there were no persons trapped inside.
Two minor injuries were reported. A child of approximately 12 months of age, and the child’s mother, were transported for medical attention. The child had been safely restrained in an appropriate child seat.
