TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:

Good Morning. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE, ROBIN!!
SGX WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES…
HEAT ADVISORY ISSUED: 5:26 AM AUG. 4, 2019 – NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
…HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT MONDAY. Temperatures…100 to 108 in the Inland Empire including San Bernardino, Riverside, Lake Elsinore, and Hemet. 95 to 105 in the San Diego Valleys including Valley Center and Ramona. Monday will be the hottest day.* Impacts…The cumulative effects of several days of hot
weather may cause heat exhaustion for those not prepared for excessive heat or for those who are active outdoors during the day.
..Today will be another very warm day locally under a 594dm area of High pressure centered over Arizona today. This will move slightly West tonight and tomorrow bringing in slightly warmer temperatures for tomorrow. Then by Tuesday, the High will begin to break down as a Trough approaches the West Coast. This will help to break down the area of High pressure, and help to push it East for a few days. A slow cooling trend will begin more noticeable Wednesday, lasting through Friday which will be the coolest day of the next week.
..Saturday, the area of High pressure will begin to rebuild in strength bringing in another warming trend from next Saturday and beyond for the West.
..At this time, the Monsoonal moisture should stay away from our area through at least next Friday. Mid week a more South Westerly flow aloft will help to keep the upper level moisture away from here through at least Friday.
..Please don’t forget to NOT leave your pets or children unattended in your vehicles and provide shade and water for your animals.
..That’s it for now. *RC
..Thank you. RC @ www.lakegregoryweather.com

..On the main page of the website, www.lakegregoryweather.com I have added two live webcam views, one of Lake Gregory pointing North, and the other facing Southeast toward Waterman canyon. These are very helpful for the drive up and down the hill. If the camera view is gray, that means it’s foggy.

..Be sure to check out the other pages on the website for the Latest on El Nino, live webcams from around the area, live Radar, Satellite loops, Traffic conditions, along with live Weather conditions, and a live view of Lake Gregory from my weather station at the South side of the lake. Have a good Day! *RC
