TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:


Good Morning.
SGX WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES…
CA…Heat Advisory from 10 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT Monday for San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire-San Diego County Valleys.
Excessive Heat Warning from 10 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT Monday for Apple and Lucerne Valleys-Coachella Valley-San Diego County Deserts-San Gorgonio Pass Near Banning.
..The HEAT is on! Yesterday’s High temperature were, Palm Springs was 115*, San Bernardino was 106*, 87* in Crestline, 86* in Lake Arrowhead.
..Today temperatures will be a couple degrees warmer as High pressure bakes SoCal. High clouds will at ~20-30k’ will help the Sunsets locally and the winds will be light and variable mainly from the South West.
..This will pretty much be the Forecast for the next few days as an area of High pressure remains over the Western U.S. through Wednesday, before breaking down. The hottest days are expected to be Sunday and Monday for our area. By Wednesday, we should see several degrees of cooling as the heat wave subsides across the West.
..No significant influx of Monsoonal Moisture is expected locally through the period. PWAT levels are running around 1.00″ +or- for our area through the period. On the longer range outlook we may see the return of Moisture in about a week. Until then, no major changes are expected.
..Please don’t forget to NOT leave your pets or children unattended in your vehicles and provide shade and water for your animals.

..On the main page of the website, www.lakegregoryweather.com I have added two live webcam views, one of Lake Gregory pointing North, and the other facing Southeast toward Waterman canyon. These are very helpful for the drive up and down the hill. If the camera view is gray, that means it’s foggy.
