Forecast for Crestline, Twin Peaks, Lake Arrowhead and the San Bernardino Mountains.
Good Morning.
There will be very little change in our weather through Thursday. High pressure to our Southeast across the bottom of the Country, and a trough of Low pressure to our North will keep us in a dry Southwest flow through mid week. Temperatures will remain as they have been with daytime highs in the upper 70s to 80*, and overnight lows from the mid 40s in Big Bear to the upper 50s to low 60s in the Arrowhead and Crestline areas. SW winds will become gusty at times in the afternoon hours, and very low humidity levels will increase the Fire Danger. PWAT levels that have been in the 1.00-1.50″ range for the last few weeks, are now at .51″ this morning. This is due to the absence of the Monsoonal flow. On the long range outlook, temperatures will warm a few degrees late in the week as the 500mb pressure increases across SoCal. A couple of potential Hurricanes will develop to our South but it doesn’t look like they will have any effect on our weather in the near term. Enjoy the clear skies and slightly Fall like weather. Have a good day! RC
