Forecast for Crestline, Twin Peaks, Lake Arrowhead and the San Bernardino Mountains.
Good Morning.
An outflow boundary from overnight Thunderstorms in Arizona and Nevada has moved into the Southern Desert areas this morning. Blowing dust and sand will be possible in those areas this morning. For today through Friday, temperatures will remain about the same as yesterday with only minor differences. Monsoon Moisture will return again today bringing a chance for Thunderstorms through Friday for Mountain and the Desert areas of SoCal. Thursday looks like the best day to catch T/Storm activity especially in the Big Bear area. Storms may drift over the Twin Peaks, Crestline, and Lake Arrowhead Thursday as the ECZ (Elsinore Convergence Zone) may become active helping with Thunderstorm activity across the area. Precipital Moisture (PWAT) levels will be running around 1.00-1.40″ so heavy downpours could accompany any T-Storms that do develop. As always use caution in and around Storms in the mountains as they may produce Flash Flooding. Friday the chances will begin to diminish as High pressure builds pushing out the Monsoonal Moisture, and temperatures will begin to rise. Here in the Mountains we will see only a few degrees of temperature increase with highs expected to remain in the low to mid 80s during the day. For the San Bernardino and Valley areas, daytime temperatures will be near 100* Friday through the next five days. Coastal fog and low clouds will hug the coastline with late morning clearing. RC

Crestline-86/61*, Twin Peaks-83/65*, Lake Arrowhead-89/60*, Running Springs-78/63*, Big Bear-79/49*, San Bernardino-93/69*.
