TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:

Good Morning.
This morning we have mostly clear skies across the area. High clouds will drift over later today from an overnight MCS that is dissipating over the Sonoran Desert and moving North West in the upper atmosphere. This will not bring any T-Storms to our area today.
..Locally, we will continue to have very warm daytime temperatures locally, as High pressure will be our main weather feature today through Wednesday.
..The area of High pressure over the West will slowly weaken over the next few days as a Pacific Trough moves toward the West Coast. This will aid in some cooling over the next few days by only few degrees total through Wednesday.
..Wednesday, as the area of High pressure weakens and relocates back to the four corners region, we will see a short term return of Monsoon Moisture into the Lower Deserts and maybe the Big Bear area. Then as it looks this morning, we will be in for a real Heat Wave beginning late next week.
..That’s it for now. *RC

..As we head into Fire Season please use caution in all mountain areas. Also I will begin today posting the Fire Danger levels the WX Alerts page for a more in depth look at the local fire weather..(Website)
