TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:

Good Morning.
Today will be another beautiful day across the mountains. Clear skies with a light breeze with slightly cooler temperatures, will be the Forecast for today through Saturday.
..A weak Trough passing to our North will bring cooler temperatures to the area along with a deepening Marine layer for the next few days. Tomorrow and Saturday, we may see morning fog in the Inland Valleys during the early hours with clear skies by mid day.
..Sunday as the Trough exits the area, Strong High pressure will build into the interior West, expanding toward the West Coast of California. This will bring a return of warmer temperatures as well as higher humidity levels. As the High builds, Tropical Moisture will become entrained in the circulation around the High. This will bring Monsoonal Moisture into the Colorado River Region, eventually, moving into the Desert Southwest including the local Mountains. Precipital Water or PWAT, levels will be on the rise as the moisture moves into the area running from 1.50″-1.75″ for Monday through Wednesday. Thunderstorms will also move into the area with some measurable rain possible in the Mountains mostly toward the Big Bear area, and the lower Desert. Due to the amount of available moisture it would be advised to keep up on local weather reports from the NWS as to the possibility for FLASH FLOODING. As always I will post updates as needed on my facebook page, Lake Gregory Weather Group, as well as local Radar loops.
..On the long range outlook, The weather pattern for next week looks pretty stable for the work week, so I would plan on higher humidity levels, warmer temperatures and the possibility for Thunderstorms throughout the work week in the mountains.
..As of this morning, there are no Tropical disturbances in the Eastern Pacific that are expected to affect our area.
..As always, be careful with any type of outdoor fire and make sure your outdoor pets have plenty of shade and water. That’s it for now. RC*
.. Be sure to check on the Lake Gregory Weather Group, facebook page, for any radar loops or storm updates as needed.
Thank you. RC @ www.lakegregoryweather.com
