TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST:
Good Morning.
..Yesterday was HOT! I was down the hill in Redlands at 4pm and it was 107*. This morning, Palm Springs is 103* at 6am!
..Today will be another HOT day around the SoCal region as High pressure remains in control of our weather. Temperatures will be very close to yesterday’s. We will have some high clouds again today with light and variable winds throughout the day. A HEAT ADVISORY will be in effect for the Inland areas today.
..Wednesday, things will begin to change as the High over SoCal will begin to break down allowing for some interior cooling. Coastal fog and low clouds will move further Inland on a sea breeze that will make it to the IE by Thursday morning. Further deepening of the Marine layer for Thursday and Friday will occur as a weak Trough of Low pressure moves through the West. Temperatures will lower by as much as 10-20* in some of the hotter areas by Friday. YEAH! The weekend locally will be nice with very comfortable temperatures. We may see the Marine layer up against the lower elevations Friday and Saturday morning but will burn off at late morning.
..Now is the time to put out shade and extra water for your outdoor pets as they will need it over the next few days.
