Forecast for Crestline, Twin Peaks, Lake Arrowhead and the San Bernardino Mountains:
Good Morning.

More Fog this morning along the Rim will make for more driving issues. Slow down and turn on your headlights!

Currently the fog is running from the ~2000′ level to ~5500′.
An area of Low pressure @ 563mbs is moving onshore currently, and is centered near the San Francisco Bay area. This Low will track from the South West toward the North East, and will move into Utah by Monday morning @ around 565mbs.
As this area of Low pressure moves slowly Inland, locally, we will see a couple of weak waves of energy move through the SoCal region. The first has just moved through bringing Fog, and a couple hundredths of an inch of moisture with it. This wave will move out and we should see slow clearing over the area by later this morning.

The next wave will move through tonight bringing more low clouds and fog to the area with drizzle and may be a little more moisture as well.

The surface pressure across the area is, Tonopah @1010.3mbs and San Diego @1019.4mbs. This will keep us in and onshore flow through Saturday night.
As the Low moves East late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, we will be on the backside of the system picking up a wind change to the North East. Along with the wind change, a quick warm up will begin.
Temperatures will go from the low to mid 50s today and Saturday, to the mid 70s and possibly 80* by Monday in some of the warmer areas. So the Holiday weekend will be filled with changing weather.
In the Gulf region, the first named storm of the Tropical Summer Storm Series will arrive as Alberto, sometime Monday. Alberto will affect all areas from Alabama to Florida with heavy rain, Thunder Storms and Tropical Force winds. That’s it for today. Have a good weekend. More Tomorrow morning. RC
