Forecast for Crestline, Twin Peaks, Lake Arrowhead and the San Bernardino Mountains:

Good Morning.
This morning there is still some Fog along the lower parts of the local HWYs. The Marine layer has weakened overnight so the Fog is more patchy this morning mostly up against the Coastal slopes and Inland Valleys.

For the Mountains, we will see mostly clear skies with a continuing SW flow, as Low pressure remains centered over Nevada with higher pressure offshore. This area of Low pressure over the Great Basin will slowly weaken and move out, being replaced by a weak ridge of High pressure for Tuesday and Wednesday.

This will bring a few degrees of warming for Tuesday and Wednesday. Another compact Low will move onshore around Central California Wednesday night. This will help to deepen the Marine layer once again for Wednesday night into Thursday to around the 4500′ level. Then on Friday as the weekend approaches, a Ridge will set up bringing nice weekend weather for the Mountain areas. This is very typical weather for May and June. No measureable rain is in the long range outlook at this time. That’s it for now, have a good Day. RC

Temperatures around the area for Today and overnight:
Crestline, Twin Peaks, and Lake Arrowhead: 53-57*/42-46*
Running Springs, GVL, and Big Bear: 54-58*/32-38*
San Bernardino: 73-77*/53-58*
