Weather Report – 4/18/19

Good Morning. Coffee and Weather.

Today will be another very nice day for the mountains. High pressure will continue to be the dominate weather feature for all of SoCal. Temperatures will be close to what we had yesterday or slightly warmer. The Winds will be turning from the current NE flow, to the SW, or onshore flow, as an area of Low pressure moves closer to SoCal from the SW. We will likely see increasing High clouds today as well.

Saturday the Marine layer will begin to deepen as the Low moves across the region. Temperatures will begin to cool as onshore flow increases. Fog and low clouds will be possible for Saturday night all the way to the Inland valleys and foothills. By Sunday morning, we could see fog along the Rim as another cooler area of Low pressure arrives from the North. Sunday will have the coolest temperatures with gusty SW winds as well. So for Easter sunrise services plan on a very cool morning.

Monday as the work week begins, we will return to a warming trend as High pressure returns to the area.

That’s it for today. Thank you for joining me @ lakegregoryweather.com
