Weather Report – 3/24/19

Good Morning.
This morning we have mostly clear skies to start the day. For the next couple of days SoCal will be under a weak Ridge of High pressure. This will bring warmer temperatures by around 5* per day to the mountains, making for very nice weather. Winds will be light and variable as High pressure builds over the area through Tuesday.

Looking on the longer range outlook, an area of Low pressure will move onshore to our North Tuesday bringing more rain and higher elevation snow to the Northern and Central part of California. As this system moves South toward SoCal, it will weaken and bring a slight chance for rain and snow showers to the higher elevations Wednesday and Thursday before moving East. Friday through the weekend looks pretty good at this time with High pressure again moving over the area. As it looks this morning, we should be able to close out March without to much more in the way of cloudy or wet weather. As always, April will bring a few storm systems through the area, but overall we are on the tail end of the Winter storm series. The Polar Jet Stream is migrating back North as it does this time of year, making way for Spring time and warmer temperatures.

That’s it for today. Thank you for joining me @ lakegregoryweather.com and a BIG thank you to all who have donated to this website.
Be sure to check out the website for live webcams from around the area along with live weather conditions and a view of Lake Gregory from my weather station at the South side of the lake.
Have a good Day! RC
