Good Morning.
Don’t forget to use the webcam page on the lake Gregory weather.com website for real time weather as well as live temperatures and webcam from my Weather Station located at the south side of Lake Gregory…

…This morning the NWS has issued a WINTER WEATHER WARNING ABOVE 5000′ AND A FLASH FLOOD WARNING FROM NOON THROUGH 10AM TUESDAY. Details are on the WX/ALERTS page..
…Today showers will move onshore by around 10am with rain intensity increasing through the afternoon. Snow levels will start off around the 5000-5500′ level through this system. There will be a chance for a Thunderstorm or two as the system moves onshore. This is a cold core system so there will be a chance for lower elevation snow at times especially during any Thunderstorms that may develop. Gusty winds with fog will make for poor driving conditions, and can be expected on and off through the work week ahead…
….. This first system will end by tomorrow morning with residual showers expected to last through Tuesday morning..
…. System #2 will arrive Tuesday night through Wednesday morning with more showers and higher snow levels around the 5800-6300′ level….
… The last in this series will arrive Thursday with snow levels around the 6500′ level as it looks this morning. Big Bear, Green Valley Lake and above will see snowfall of ~2-6″ from storm #1, ~3-5″ from #2, and ~1-3″ from #3. Running Springs will see snow then a mix of rain and snow later in the week. The lower mountain elevations will pick up from 4-8″ of rain through the series….
…. This will be a wintery week ahead so plan a little extra time for and driving…
….. State and County Road crews will be out plowing snow and or clearing debris from the local roadways. USE caution around those vehicles. In the snow areas park your vehicles off of the road wherever possible so plows can get through!
