Vehicle Flips Then Lands on Its Roof on Highway 18

On August 14th, at 4:00 p.m., a white Nissan Altima rolled over on Highway 18. The incident occurred at mile marker 63.5, on the back side to Lucerne.

According to reports the vehicle was traveling down-bound, when the wheels got caught on the lip of the road. The driver over-corrected, and flipped over onto its top. The vehicle did not appear to be speeding.

Medic Engine 8 and Medic Ambulance 8 from Lucerne Valley provided traffic control, while California Highway Patrol conducted its investigation. An occupant of the vehicle was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. And Towing recovered the vehicle.
