At 5:30 PM on September 28th a resident of Big Bear went to Station 282 in Big Bear City to report a tree fell into a house on Aeroplane Drive. Medic engine 282 responded to the location to find a large tree that had fallen into the porch of a house taking down communication lines. Fire Engineer Andrew Crane used a chain saw to cut up the tree and remove it. Big Bear Firefighters were able to secure the situation from any further damage.
