At 9:46 a.m. on May 29th, 2018, the California Highway Patrol received reports of a two vehicle accident on Highway 18 near the dump.
There were no injuries reported but the vehicles were left blocking the westbound lanes. Mountain Auto Service was dispatched at 9:53 a.m. to tow the vehicles.
The CHP officer onscene used the unit’s push bumper to push the vehicles out of the way and cleared the lanes allowing traffic to pass.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
