“The Lil Shed”, A Heartwarming Story of Art and Community

Brought to you by Prime Properties, The Real Estate Place and The Sky Forest Inn

A little gem has appeared in the last year in Forest Falls and there is quite the story behind it! Locals may recognize it as “The Lil Shed”, a place filled with one of a kind arts and crafts from around the area.

The beautiful story of its creation begins with the dynamic duo of Sandy Wood and Janice Sivard, who used to frequent local art and crafts fairs, but found how time consuming and tiring these multi day events could be. They also used to display their own works at the Coyote Unlimited Art Gallery which was previously located in Forest Falls before they closed their doors for good.

With their passion for one of a kind arts and crafts the duo devised the perfect plan with the help of Sandy’s husband, Tim. They would build their own shed to put their works in. Further, they decided that they wanted to share their works with others and set plans to open occasionally to sell the art and in between restock with more wonderful finds and creations. Sandy put out a call to the locals in Forest Falls to help make their dreams a reality and boy did they respond! With the help of neighbors and friends the shed was created using recycled windows, doors, flooring, shelving, and cedar shakes! Talk about a beautiful work of art and craftiness to house just that; arts and crafts!

This Saturday, April 6th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, they will be opening those shed doors to share their works. Come one, come all, both far and near, for a truly wonderful experience and opportunity to see this dream that’s become a reality and the chance to purchase some of these one of a kind arts!
