At 12:40 PM on Novemeber 25th a call went into 911 dispatchers reporting a wood pile on fire next to a structure and the structure starting to catch fire. The house was located in the 32900 block of Deer Lane in Arrowbear. Cal fire along with County Fire From Running Springs arrived on scene and reported heavy smoke showing and requested A full structure fire response. Engineer/Medic M.Scotti from Medic ambulance 50 Running Springs was observed clearing snow from a near by hydrant and getting a hose to the fire. Quick action by all agencies prevented further damage and stopped the spread to adjacent houses. The cause for the fire is under investigation.
