Solo Vehicle Traffic Accident Sends One Person to the Hospital

At 11:03 p.m., the California Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a solo vehicle accident in Crestline. The accident took place on Forest Shade road near Rocky Loop.

The vehicle glanced off of a telephone pole before center punching a tree. The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local area Hospital.

Mountain Auto Service was dispatched to the scene to perform the vehicle recovery. During the recovery a hydraulic line failed causing the tow truck to become stuck with the bed in the down position. The towing company had to send the second truck to pull the first truck out and then recover the vehicle. Edison was also dispatched to check the integrity of the pole.

The exact nature of the driver’s injuries and the cause of the accident are unknown at this time.
