At 10:34 a.m., 911 dispatchers received multiple calls about a rollover accident near Silverwood Lake. The location given was Hwy 138 at the Pilot Rock conservation camp access road.
Upon arriving on scene, units found a single-vehicle accident involving a Toyota Corolla. for unknown reasons the driver failed to negotiate the turn, struck the mountain and rolled the vehicle over.
The two occupants were uninjured and refused medical attention at the scene. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the accident. Controlled one-way traffic on highway 138 took place during the accident investigation and cleanup.
