At 2:34 p.m., on May 29th, 2018 a single vehicle accident was reported on Highway 18 below Upper Waterman. The exact location is just above the large memorial cross on the hillside at mile marker 12.
At 3:10 p.m., CHP arrived on scene. The vehicle was in a ditch but completely off the roadway on the southbound side. There were no injuries and the driver was waiting for AAA to arrive. As it turns out, this area is under the jurisdiction of San Bernardino Police Department who will be handling the accident.
As of 4:01 p.m., the roadway was clear.
