At 4:51 pm Sunday, a structure fire was reported at 22613 Valley View Drive and Bear Springs Road in Rim Forest. Medic Engines 26, 25, 91, 94 and Medic Ambulance 26 from San Bernardino County Fire were the responding units.

Emergency units had a difficult time rounding the tight curve to the scene on Bear Springs Road and Scenic Drive as their chassis scraped the ground, also making it difficult backing down the narrow road.

According to a witness a small fire started in the lower floor of the home. The cause of ignition was unknown but it is believed the fire started in the bathroom. The official cause of the fire is still under investigation. No Injuries were reported.
