SAN BERNARDINO, CALIF.—The road that traverses Bee Canyon at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains will close intermittently over the next month for construction activities. The work continues repairs begun last spring to further solidify it from significant damage during major rainstorms.
Bee Canyon (OHV) Road, also known as Forest Road No. 5S07, is scheduled to be closed on the following dates:
- Monday, December 14, 2020, through Friday, December 18, 2020
- Monday, December 21, 2020, through Wednesday, December 23, 2020
- Monday, January 4, 2021, through Friday, January 14, 2021
Closure dates are subject to change due to weather. Visitors are encouraged to “know before you go” and check for changes with the San Jacinto Ranger District at 909-382-2921, the Forest’s Alerts & Notices webpage or Twitter before heading out.
