Hello Class of 2020,
Thank you for all that participated in the Rim High School Senior Survey regarding Prom and Graduation. The results of the survey were as follows: 64% would like a Prom during either June or July (if gatherings are permitted) and 88% would like a live graduation with a senior celebration day on July 24th (if gatherings are permitted). Administration, senior advisers, and student leaders will work on developing plans to move forward with these events. Details will be provided as soon as they are made available.
In addition, with the school closure, we understand that there are many requests for various event refunds. Mrs. Bunkers, our ASB clerk, will be working to process refunds and work on essential business related to the ASB office. Please be patient as we will have hundreds of refunds to process in addition to the other regular duties that the ASB office tends to.
We know how hard the seniors have worked over the past 12 years. RHS wants to celebrate them and give them the senior experience they deserve considering the unexpected closure. Our students and teachers are working diligently to create unique and special experiences for the class of 2020. Please look at your third quarter grades and be in communication with your counselor to ensure you are eligible to graduate.
