Rim Communities Health and Resource Fair

The 7th Annual Rim Communities Health and Resource Fair was held on Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm in the parking lot behind the Crestline Skate Park. The event was co-sponsored by Rim Family Services, Rim Communities for Youth, and Rim Communities Resource Network. The family-friendly event included community health resources, interactive thinking games, hourly raffles, free medical screenings, food, and music.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department, California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection, and California Highway Patrol had equipment on displayed and provided information to visitors on how to stay safe on the roads, and with the upcoming fire season.

Mountains Community Hospital nurses were there to provided free blood pressure checks and demonstrated CPR techniques.

Other community and local government agencies that had booths at the event included Rebuilding Together Mountain Communities, Inland Caregiver Resource Center, First 5 San Bernardino, San Bernardino County Preschool Services, Mountain Homeless Collation, Narcotics Anonymous, and Rim Family Services.
