Mark your calendars and come on out to help homeless families in the San Bernardino Mountains.

Every year the federal government requires each county to submit a count of the current homeless population. The mountain homeless coalition needs your help to ensure accuracy and validity of their count.

During the count you will provide the homeless population with some much needed supplies and help in any way you can. This year the “Point in Time Count” will happen on Thursday, January 24th.

If you are interested in helping with this vital community service, your training is at St. Richards Episcopal Church (28708 Hwy 18, Skyforest, CA 92385) on Tuesday, January 15th from 10:00 am to 11:00am (Please bring a smartphone if you have one).

If you are unable to attend that training time, there are trainings in other locations and times. Please go to the following website www.sbcounty.gov/sbchp, click on the Point in time box, click on the registration form, register your contact information, and lastly check “unincorporated mountain areas” for location. Once your training is complete, you’ll be ready for the event on the 24th.
