Mini Bike Loses Control and Crashes into Fence

At 3:15 PM on April 5th, 2019, a Chevy 3500 and a mini bike were traveling on Barton Road in Sugarloaf. While executing a left turn onto Kern Road, the truck turned and the mini bike attempted to pass. The rider then lost control and slammed into a residential fence.

Medic Engine 283 from the Sugarloaf Station along with Medic Ambulance 282 from Big Bear City arrived on scene to find a single rider suffering from undisclosed injuries.

The California Highway Patrol was on scene conducting the investigation. The extent of the riders injuries are unknown at this time and he was transported to a local hospital.
