This Saturday, August 17th, come to Chirp Nature Center and learn about local Fantastic Flying Squirrels. The informative presentation is from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be provided. This is a great way to meet new friends, bring our community together and learn about local birds, critters and nature.

Chirp Nature Center offers free nature presentations monthly by naturalists, scientists and authors. Here are a few of the exciting nature exploration opportunities coming up:

Saturday, September 21 – All Things Audubon
Saturday, October 19 – Owls and Ravens
All presentations begin at 4:00 p.m.

Chirp Nature Center is stocked with wild bird supplies, guides and educational information as well as nature lover trinkets and gifts. Fun toys and books are available as well. Stop in for a Free Big Bear Bird checklist and ask about guided bird walks and bird watching gear.

A portion of their revenue goes to local & national nature advocacy organizations.
