Lake Gregory Fishing Report 11/6/18

Jeff Cottini, Mountain Top Anglers

Lake Gregory Fishing Report for the week. Trout fishing has picked up this last week. With some nice size trout surfacing. Healthy size trout in the 2-3lb range have been caught on numerous baits ranging from power bait, night crawlers, spoons and jigs have been the ticket. Trout are still holding deep. Best times for fishing is still early morning or evening. North shore and South shore points have been productive. Rick Kizzee and Judith Palma had a productive day from the float tube. Both with health size trout. Tyler Pruett also landed a decent 3lb’er on powerbait. I had some luck jigging the West shore and by dam. Lake Gregory Veterans Day Trout Derby is next weekend Sat November 10th. A private stock along with CDFW stock will be going in. Should be a good derby with anglers coming from all over to compete for cash and Prizes and of course bragging right! So come on up and slay with MTA. Pics below of last week’s catches.
