At 8:04 p.m., San Bernardino County Fire units received reports of an alarm activation at the Lake Arrowhead Resort. The fire alarm prompted an evacuation of the resort. San Bernardino County Fire units found a small fire burning in room 115. An investigator has been summoned to the scene. We will update this article as more information becomes available.

Thank you for your concern, but we want to assure you that there was not a fire. Instead, a guest left candles burning in their room while dining, which created smoke and led to the fire alarm going off. Everyone is safe and there is no structural damage to the resort.
