On August 12th at 2:47 p.m., calls went into 911 dispatch reporting a solo vehicle roll-over on Highway 173 and Golden Rule Road in Lake Arrowhead. A grey 2019 Nissan Sentra rental car was found overturned on the side of the road.
According to statements made at scene, the driver took the corner too fast, hit the dirt, lost control and flipped over, landing on its roof. Medic 94 transported the occupant of the vehicle to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Mountain Auto recovered the vehicle. The cause of the crash is being investigated by California Highway Patrol as a DUI.
