On Wednesday March 6th at 1:30 p.m. San Bernardino County Fire responded to a water rescue that took place on State Highway 173, one mile west of Cedar Springs Dam in Hesperia, California.
The incident involved a black BMW SUV that had apparently started driving up into the Mojave Riverbed against the current where it became stuck in the deep sand. A number of San Bernardino County Fire units were dispatched including 40King, the hoist helicopter.
