Helping Hands, Pre-Paid Meal Tickets Inspire Community Neighbors

Amber Crubaugh, Manager of the Crestline Cafe was inspired by a Facebook Post shared by a couple of her friends, regarding pre-paid meal tickets. She contacted the owner, George Hoenig of the Cafe to share her enthusiasm for this community project!

With George’s blessing, Amber began making the “Helping Hands” community board. With donations from several community members, the board now has several hundred dollars worth of $10.00 pre-paid meal tickets!

The meal tickets are for anyone that is hungry, a Senior Citizen on a fixed income that just can’t afford a meal out, someone who’s homeless or just having a difficult financial time.

There will be NO questions asked if you would like to use a ticket! You will get a choice of any item on the menu in the $10 range. All they ask is that the generosity is not abused or taken advantage of.

If you need a meal ticket just let your server know. No questions asked and no judgement. One ticket per person.

If you can spare $10.00 for a pre-paid meal ticket to add to the board, let your server know. They can give you the ticket to write an inspirational note before they place it on the board.

We think this is a beautiful act of caring for the community by the community members and neighbors. After speaking to Amber today and experiencing her caring and enthusiastic heart for helping others, we are hoping more restaurants will offer “Helping Hands” to their neighbors in need.
