Did you know that 4.5 million Americans will need a blood transfusion each year?

Well, you can help at least one of those individuals in need on Thursday, February 7th from 9am to 2pm at Mountains Community Hospital. The address is 29101 Hospital Road, Lake Arrowhead, Ca.

You can walk-in on your break or schedule an appointment ahead of time by calling 800.879.4484. Please be sure to drink plenty of fluids prior to your visit and don’t forget your photo ID.

Mountains community hospital has been serving our community for over 50 years, providing high quality healthcare to the locals and tourists alike. “MCH is a full service hospital with a 24/7 emergency department, 20-bed long term care unit, 17-bed medical/surgical unit etc…” Each and every time you visit MCH you will be pleased to encounter a pleasant and knowledgeable staff from the front door to the surgical table. Our “little” hospital is full of big hearts.

LifeStream is a non-profit blood center founded in 1951 as the blood bank of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. “Today, LifeStream provides blood products and services to more than 80 Southern California hospitals in six counties.” In order for LifeStream to fulfill current patient needs they must collect around 500 blood donations daily.
